The Lure of Pinehurst
In the late 1800’s the vision of Boston businessman James Walker Tufts and the creativity of noted landscape architect Frederick Olmsted combined to spawn the Village of Pinehurst. This unique village, originally an outdoor recreational and rest haven for New Yorkers and New Englanders, has held on to its southern charm and lure for the past 110-plus years and continues to capture visitors’ attraction from all walks of life and lands.
