Knollwood Village, located just a short drive west of Route 1 on Route 2/Midland Rd. is one of the Pinehurst-Southern Pines area’s most well established golf communities.  Knollwood Village is comprised of a mix of single level condominiums and larger first floor level townhomes.  Units range in size from about 550 square feet for the one-bedroom condos to around 1,900 square feet for the three-bedroom/two-bath split plan condos.  The townhomes come with either an attached carport or attached 1-car garage.  Most of the single-level condos were built in the 1960′s and 1970′s, while the majority of the townhomes were built in the 1970′s and 1980′s.  Knollwood Village is a golf community, and offers residents full access to their par 35, 9-hole course.  The course was designed by C.A.
